The overall theme of my project is "Irony". I expressed the irony from my social and political experiences through the realistic and unrealistic video and sculpture works. From news and other press media, I've witnessed that my home country, South Korea, has been poorly treated from other powerful nations and I had to accept this fact. And these critical pieces of my perception lead me to visualise them in the form of art work. For example, one result of the summit meeting disappointed me and even caused a bit of an anger. To express my thoughts and feeling related to it, I chose to make my projects ironically and humorously.
